The theme of Network 2023 event is a smart and responsible network, which in its topicality covers an interesting and influential content area to the expected meeting place at the end of January.
– The pandemic years made energy and information network professionals wait a long time for the Network trade fair, but finally in January the event will take place and we will get to meet face to face under the same roof. A lot is happening now in the industry, so there will be plenty of current content and interesting discussions, says Janne Kerttula, chairman of the event’s exhibition committee and director of Finnish Energy Association.
Tampere Trade Fairs Oy organises Network in cooperation with Finnish Energy Association, Adato Energia Oy, Teleprikaati Oy, Tieturi Oy, Finnish District Heating and Cooling Association FinDHC and the Finnish Work Safety Association (STYL). The partner company of the 2023 Network Fair is Tampereen Sähkölaitos.
Topical theme carries three perspectives
An intelligent and responsible network looks to the future, creating a strong and energizing tomorrow. In challenging world situations and major transformation, a renewable, timely and secure network is not only vital, but a factor that leads to sustainable solutions as well – all of which are created together. The comprehensive theme brings together three perspectives: reliable network, networks in energy transition and responsibility.
In a reliable network, the roles of security of supply and service, as well as cybersecurity and data security, are paramount. Digitalisation and artificial intelligence, data collection, analysis and utilisation mould the development of networks vigorously. As the industry continues to progress, increasing expertise and meaningful partnerships are gaining in importance. Quality, reliability and durability play a key role in the transformation. With renewable energy sources, the entire electricity transmission system is facing new challenges. Sector integration, EU Green Deal and the management of peak electricity are on the lip. And in the future, how will the interconnection of different forms of energy shape networks? Environmentally friendly and safe network construction and sustainable product manufacturing foster a responsible working environment. The network of the future acts responsibly towards both people and nature.
